The versatile conference program is designed for first-hand experience exchange in the telecommunications industry:

In general, the SIGOS Conference is only open to personally invited, registered and confirmed delegates. At any point in time SIGOS reserves the right to cancel a registration and to limit the number of participants from one company according to availability. Bookings will be considered on a first-come first-serve basis.

Is there a participation fee?

Attending the conference is free of charge for all invited & confirmed delegates subject to the above regulations - including related costs, such as, conference attendance, food and drinks during the conference and networking events organized by SIGOS.
Additional room nights and expenses, including but not limited to e.g. special services at the hotel, travel, visa or any visa associated costs (incl. invitation letter shipment for hardcopies), personal consumption at bar / restaurants, personal transportation and other personal expenses etc. are not included and will be paid by participants.
At any point in time SIGOS reserves the right to cancel a registration and to limit the number of participants from one company according to availability. Bookings will be considered on a first-come first-serve basis.

What are the accommodation costs for the conference?
|

Answer:
|
For all invited & confirmed delegates SIGOS will only bear accommodation costs booked through SIGOS at the conference venue or another hotel organized by SIGOS (depending on availability) for the main conference period (check in: Mon, 15 May - check out: Thu, 18 May 2017). Any additional nights or other costs need to be paid by participants.
Please do not make your own reservation at the conference hotel as this might cause extra costs.
This applies to all network operators, carriers, regulators, SIGOS customers as well as SIGOS sales partners.

Is it possible to extend my stay at the hotel? What are the costs?

Answer:

If you are planning to extend your stay (exceeding the nights paid by SIGOS according to our booking regulations), those additional nights need to be paid by yourself upon check-out. Special group rate (depending on availability) is EUR 163 for single accommodation / EUR 183 for double accommodation, incl. buffet breakfast, internet and local VAT.

I will need an invitation letter for my visa application. Will this be provided by SIGOS?

Answer:
|
From previous experience please let us point out that early registration is essential if you require an invitation letter for your visa application. It has occurred before that registered participants were unable to attend and charged cancellation fee just because of late visa application! Therefore please ensure to register as soon as possible!
Please note that we send out requested visa invitation letters only as soft copy. If you need a hard copy, please understand that you will have to bear postage expenses.
The invitation letter can be requested during the registration process. You will have to have your passport information in front of you.

Will there be pictures / videos taken during the conference?

Answer:

Yes, photos and videos will be taken during the program. By participating in the event you agree with the fact that these photos and videos may be published for promoting future events or in any other SIGOS marketing material.
