The words “shopping” and “groups” do not always go together. Chaos is usually the word that first comes to mind. However, this should not be the case. Shopping with groups can be a positive and fun experience. Therefore, we have put together a list of five stores around the world that offer special group arrangements, ranging from tours and seminars to commissions and cocktails.

Galeries Lafayette Haussmann

38 Rue de la Chaussée d’Antin, 75009 Paris, France

Galeries Lafayette, which opened in 1893, is an institution of Parisian fashion – an essential stop for the fashion lovers. From men’s and women’s fashion to furniture, electronics and jewellry, everything can be found in this department store.

Galeries Lafayette Haussmann offers guided tours to help groups understand the history and heart of the store. These tours are organised on request, with a maximum of 25 people. The first 10 persons are free. Groups with more than 10 persons cost €7 per person. Tours take place from 11.00 until 11.45, and bring you to the terrace and the Dom on the roof top. There is also the possibility to enjoy a glass of champaigne on the terrace for €14 per person.

For inquiries, please send an email to patrimoine@galerieslafayette.com, including your name, address and number of persons for which you are applying. The Heritage Team of Lafayette will offer you a date based on availability and enrollment.

Additionally, planners may receive a commission of 10 percent on all sales generated by the customers they bring in to the store.
